Course Overview: The course will teach
students how to identify the most common components of a
computer, as well as give the students a basic
understanding of how those parts work together to handle
data. Topics discussed include what an operating system
is, how RAM and storage devices differ, and what input
and output devices are. Students will also be taught how
to turn on a computer and begin working in the operating
system, including how to search for Help, how to move
windows, and how to make some basic customizations.
